Understanding the issues of 300,000 returning migrants in India

Inclusion Economics India Centre, based at Krea University, collaborates with state and central governments in conducting research focused on improving governance, environmental protection, financial inclusion, health, nutrition, and gender equality that affects millions of lives. Using the engageSPARK’s automated Voice IVR, they surveyed 300,000 returning migrants in one of the states of India on financial inclusion and the challenges they are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

11,766 completed surveys on financial inclusion, of which 30% are thanks to automated call retries

More than 85,000 calls were made in 3 days

The survey consisted of 291 steps (questions were dependent on previous answers)

More than 400,000 migrants called in 3 months

So, how much does it cost?

We understand that pricing is crucial when choosing a platform. Here’s how it works on engageSPARK:

  1. Subscription Plans: These vary based on the number of contacts you are messaging or surveying and the features you need.
  2. Usage Fees: These are charges per SMS, per minute of calls, per WhatsApp message, and per airtime top-up, which vary by country. You can search for specific country rates on the linked page. In many countries, we offer lower rates for organizations with a legally registered entity or a local partner. Additionally, here is the link to our airtime top-up fees.
  3. Setup & monthly fees for phone numbers you buy.

Each project is unique, so don’t hesitate to reach out so we can properly understand the scope of your project and give you a more accurate estimate.
