How to conduct live (CATI) surveys in a region with multiple languages.
Mozambique, a beautiful country in southeastern Africa, is home to over 40 different languages. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health faced a unique challenge: how to conduct live call (CATI) surveys across such a linguistically diverse region to gather crucial information.
Do you want to know how they overcame this challenge?
IVR pause subscription feature
As you see in the picture above, you can now find the pause subscription action in any actions selector of a voice question.
But, what’s this new feature about? Perhaps a couple of real-life scenarios might help us explain it better:
1. Imagine your respondent is taking your IVR survey, but something else comes up all of a sudden on their end. So you can send them a message saying:
- If you don’t have time to finish it, please press 4. And then, when you have time to continue, please text back the word “Resume”.
2. Or, maybe you realize there’s something wrong with your survey and you need to fix it. Now, you can simply pause it for certain contacts and then continue where you left off.
Do you have an upcoming project? Let us run a free pilot for you.
Previously, we shared an offer that might benefit some of you. Today, we’d like to extend it once more to our readers.
Starting a new project often comes with budget concerns and doubts about achieving the desired outcomes. You may be wondering if your budget is sufficient and if engageSPARK’s platform is the right choice for your needs.
To help ease these concerns, we offer a free pilot program. This allows you to explore our tools and witness their potential impact on your project firsthand.
If you have your audience’s contact details, we’d love to discuss your eligibility for a free pilot. Please email us at hello@engagespark.com
