To send outbound messages: You do not need any equipment or software. The engageSPARK platform is a web-based software which you can access online anywhere. You can send messages to any country through your engageSPARK account. No need to download anything.

To receive inbound messages: You will need a local phone number for users to dial or send text messages to. Getting a Virtual Phone Number is required for two-way SMS or IVR (automated call) campaigns. The following are interactive engagement types that require a virtual number:

•  SMS Auto-Reply
•  SMS Webhook
•  Any Voice and SMS campaigns with SMS Keyword Opt-in and/or Missed Call Subscription
